Hello and welcome. We are Denise and Kevin and we live with our young Doodle in this beautiful part of the Dordogne valley. In 2008 whilst on one of our many many Dordogne holidays, we just, by chance saw Ferme Redouline and fell in love with it, in all it’s abandoned rambling glory. It really was a case of rose tinted glasses and in a spontaneous fit of madness we decided we should buy it and restore it to its original glory. After many years of hard work, with both of us learning a lot of new skills we were ready to welcome our first guests in August 2022.

“Such a beautifully created place to stay, Denise and Kevin have really thought of everything! This is a wonderful place to relax and recharge which is close to so many beautiful places to visit close by, the recommendations from Denise and Kevin are spot on! The air bnb itself has everything you could possibly need and the weather was warm enough for us to enjoy using the bbq outside (we will have to come back to try the fire indoors!). Situated with incredible uninterrupted views of the countryside we enjoyed a dip in the pool (even at the end of October it was warm enough!).

“We had a really lovely week at Ferme Redouline. Kevin and Denise were wonderfully welcoming and accommodating and have created a very relaxed environment - somewhere we really felt at home for the week. The house is beautiful, full of character, really well kitted out, clean and fresh. The salt water pool was fabulous and enjoyed by us all (I particularly loved smelling the lavender hedge as I swam!) We also really appreciated the rural peace and quiet and the wonderful sunsets and night skies. Thank you, we’re loved it!”

“Denise and Kevin have created a beautiful holiday home that really does feel like home! Very clean and very comfortable. They have sympathetically restored a barn exposing beams and stone work and created something quite unique. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and plenty of it! We received a lovely welcome back with freshly baked bread, wine from the local wine cave and a variety of jams and condiments - a lovely start. The house has a beautiful garden room with very large patio doors which look across the pool, gardens and land, a great place for breakfast and relaxing for a quiet read...the table seats 8 and so plenty of space for dining.
The lounge has 3 large sofa's and so plenty of space to sit and relax. Downstairs loo! ;-)
Bedrooms beautifully appointed with an ensuite to the master and a shared shower room for the other 2 bedrooms..Nice little touches such as spare toiletries made us think that Denise and Kevin had really thought of everything!
The pool is a glorious size and overlooks the hillside - lots of outside furniture to relax in too.
Denise is also a great cook and did cook us a 5 course meal whilst we were there (this was offered as an optional extra - in their garden which is close by), this was such a treat”

“Denise and Kevin are wonderful hosts! We had such a lovely time at your cottage with 2 teenagers! They have created a romantic and peaceful place, very tastefully designed and lovingly equipped with everything you could ask for! Especially in the kitchen, you can tell that Denise is a passionate cook - everything has been thought of! We immediately felt comfortable, enjoyed the ambiance, the view and the pool. And there is also an incredible amount to see and do in the area. A great experience - I'm sure we'll be back!”

“Superb cottage, completely tastefully renovated mixing modern and local traditional style. In a peaceful location with beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
Very spacious and very well-equipped kitchen, the living room with its stove in the fireplace is very nice, with 3 sofas. The bedrooms upstairs have comfortable beds and modern and convenient bathrooms.
We were able to have aperitivo and lunch on the terrace in the shade of the umbrellas, well settled in the garden furniture. We had a very nice relaxing time, we'll be happy to go back!”
